It's about time

for a new moon to rise

for the flowers to bloom

in the middle of the night.

It's about time

for the ducks to fly

where the eagles tread

up high in the sky.

It's about time

for the lakes to flow

where rivers meet oceans

down.. down.. below.

It's about time

for the poor to be rich

where poverty and discrimination

will no longer exist.

I think it's about time

for the war to end

let justice and freedom

both be our friends.

And now it's time

for a new life to start

let go of the past

and wear a brand new heart.

It's a new morning, the sun rises up

and as I open my eyes, it's your face I see

it's your scent I smell, you're all over me.

I got up and walked to the door

I saw you standing in the corner

giving me that stare, kinda amused

that's when I thought you are already home.

But when I ran towards you

you were already gone

how can this be, you tricked me?

I can see you anywhere I go

but you're not really there.

When I lay down my head tonight

I will try not to think of you so much

because even in my dreams

I can feel your touch

How can you be so cruel?

Yahoooooo!!!

I used to get up at 5 in the morning

It's when the rooster supposed to be crowing.

but I heard them just before I close my eyes

they must be out of date, that I realized.

And so the race is just beginning

between chores, work, coffee and FBying

I couldn't get things done right away

my soft warm bed is inviting me to stay.

So I snuggle there.. a little bit more

a few more minutes, till I started to snore

It's a good thing though, I have set my alarm

It's when someone signs in, I could hear the sound..

I know you lost someone you love

I know it's hard for you to take

Letting her go is a mistake.

A part of you just died

She haunts you like she's dead and,

It is so hard to make you laugh
