Did you ever wanted something but you know you can't have it? In this present time, there are so many things in life we wished we have. Although it appears that we have every kind of technology there is, we seem to be looking for more. When man got tired of walking, he invented the automobiles. When automobiles couldn't swim, he invented boats and ships. Just when he thought boats and ships couldn't fly, the airplane was born. And there are millions of other inventions to date that added to the luxury and quality of life. Every minute is a countless failure to those who tried. And millions are being spent for these experiments. Some of them became harmful, most of them are not. Who would supply medicines when there are no diseases? Who would use guns when there is no war? Come to think of it, man was able to sustain his continuance just before all of these existed.

I don't really blame man if he chooses to do things that will make his life a lot easier. I am no exception on that. Hard as it may to understand, man will continually evolve into something higher, like flying maybe? Like those we see in the movies wherein time will come when people can fly , and robots will rule the earth. But do we really see all these things happening in the future? I don't think so. But I still want to fly though. I fly a lot in my dreams. Fly here. Fly there. But is it really possible? There's one thing I've been thinking since that day my biology professor asked me what are the gills for. After I declared that time will come man can breathed underwater (not through oxygen tanks of course), the class discussion turned into a debate. Others were skeptics and most of them are optimists. The argument came only to a halt when my professor finally agreed to my idea.

I just thought, that man should really create something that would enable us to breath underwater. Instead of producing more viruses and diseases, guns and ammunition, why don't we focus more on something more valuable to us all. Something that would benefit us especially during these times when we are constantly devastated by floods.

Anyway, I am no scientist, nor my work is related to the any science fields. But If I'd be given a chance, I will create a suit that we can wear that will separate oxygen from hydrogen, just like what gills does. No more bulky, heavy tanks on our backs, no more replacements if we ran out of stocks. Just plain suit, simple as that. But, it would never be that simple , otherwise we would have been wearing one.

The thought always made me smile. Something good always made me smile, with the hope of wearing it one day. When all the icebergs have melted, and the ocean level have risen. God forbid! I still wanna live.
